According to Eco Textile, the American Circular Textiles (ACT) group has started a petition to end double taxation on used items, repairs, and adjustments in the apparel industry across the United States.
As a means of fostering sustainable job growth and lowering the quantity of waste sent to landfills, ACT, whose members include fashion resale experts like ThredUp, Fashionphile, Vestiaire Collective, and Unspun, aims to promote circularity in the textile sector.
