Adidas played a central role in Riga Fashion Week

From April 8 to 11, the Latvian capital became the epicenter of Baltic fashion during the 33rd edition of Riga Fashion Week, which featured designers from Lithuania, Estonia and, of course, Latvia, and even Uzbekistan and Finland .
On the first day, the shows were held at Office Complex Verde, a modern building in the city's business center, then moved to the RFW hall in Hanzas Perons, a former railway warehouse in Riga, Fashion United reported.
The collaboration between Adidas Latvia, local brand Baé by Katya Shehurina and Stockmann Department Store in partnership with Finnish designer Mia Halmesmaa played a leading role in this edition, which also featured western fashion, bridal fashion, swimwear and offerings aimed at conquering the markets in the Middle East.
The collaboration between Baé and Adidas, which ended the last day, put the finishing touch on the event. It stood out from the rest, elegantly combining the dynamics of the sports giant with the distinctive aesthetics of the Latvian brand, giving the appearance of a modern and casual offering.
Stockmann - which has eight department stores in Finland and the Baltic region - has included emerging designers in its offer for 10 years, organizing pop-up showrooms and supporting them with communication activities.
As part of their collaboration with Riga Fashion Week, established in 2023, and in addition to presenting a brand on the main catwalk, they also organized a pop-up shop to present their collections to customers.
Striking with her colorful dresses, Halmesmaa's collection was presented at Riga Fashion Week alongside Stockmann's latest fashion and accessories collections, as well as an amalgam of everyday products like oranges and cereal, and graphics that positively stood out .
When choosing who to support, Stockmann is guided by two main pillars: the designers' proximity to the brand's values, such as sustainability or respectful design, and their acceptance among customers./BGNES
