Enough water has reportedly been conserved by a program that was started ten years ago to lessen the environmental effects of Bangladeshi textile and garment manufacturers, meeting the needs of 1.9 million people.
It is stated that the Partnership for Cleaner Textile (PaCT) has assisted over 450 manufacturers in cutting their yearly freshwater use by 35 billion liters and their wastewater output by 29 billion liters. /BGNES
