Before the final, Amanda Holden warned of "daring" Britain's Got Talent attire

A severe warning has been given to Amanda Holden regarding her attire for the Britain's Got Talent finale.

Thanks to her incredible ensembles, the 53-year-old television favorite has been stunning the country for years on her ITV show. On Big Brother Takeover, Amanda goes all out in terms of her wardrobe choices, from provocative dresses to nude displays, reported Daily Star.

But it's also true that her gowns have ruffled a good deal of feathers. In 2020, people criticized Amanda for wearing a plunging navy gown that was "too revealing" for a family program, leading to 235 complaints being filed with Ofcom.

Furthermore, in 2017, a £11,250 Julien MacDonald dress caused a lot of controversy due to its low neckline, which resulted in 663 Ofcom complaints, making it the most complained about TV item of the year.

And with the Britain's Got Talent 2024 final starting on Sunday, June 2, Amanda will undoubtedly make her stage debut with yet another jaw-dropping appearance.

Entertainers such as magician Trixy and vocalist Sydnie Christmas are competing to become the winner. Afronitaaa, a dance couple, and comedian Alex Mitchell will also be competing for a chance to win £250,000 and a spot at the Royal Variety Performance.

To "minimize controversy," Amanda has been cautioned not to "overshadow the talent on the show" with her wardrobe selections before to the live finale, which airs on Sunday, June 2.

Dom Aldworth, Head of Brand Marketing at Slingo, revealed in an exclusive interview with Daily Star that Amanda is a prominent character on the show not only for her judging but also for "her often daring and glamorous outfits."

He clarified, saying, "Her fashion choices have generated a great deal of controversy over the years." The main grievances usually center on her clothes, which is thought to be unsuitable for a show aimed towards families.

Her wardrobe selections "often garner substantial media coverage, which can be both beneficial and detrimental," Dom continued. "It keeps her in the news, but it also runs the risk of drawing unfavorable attention, as it has in the past," he stated.

"The show is ultimately about showcasing the talents of the contestants," the expert continued. A judge's outfit could be seen as overshadowing the talent the show tries to spotlight if it sparks more discussion than the performances.

Dom went on to say, "Even though Amanda's style is an integral part of her brand, it's important to balance individual expression with the show's objectives." He continued by explaining how "a balanced approach for the final" may "ensure the spotlight stays on the deserving contestants" and "help minimise controversy."

"This doesn't mean she needs to forgo her flamboyant style; rather, she needs to adapt it in a way that aligns with the nature of the event and audience expectations," the speaker continued. | BGNES
