Consider carefully before purchasing your festive attire from Zara

You might be better off waiting till you're over in Spain if you're planning to buy some holiday outfits from Zara while you're there.

The Spanish company offers clothing for men, women, and children there at significantly lower prices, reported Sky News.

To see how much you might save, you can use their Spanish website's price search function to see pricing in English.

Almost every item we looked at had significant potential savings, and because the pound hit a two-year high versus the euro on Wednesday, the savings are considerably greater than usual.

This white minidress with a ruffled hem, for instance, costs €27.95 in Spain but £32.99 (or €38.74) elsewhere.

A "flowing voluminous" black dress costs €29.95 there, whereas in the UK, it costs £35.99 (€42.27).

These men's "balloon fit" jeans cost €35.95 in Spain, but in the UK, they cost £45.99 (or €54.01).

In Spain, a double-breasted jacket suit and pants cost €129.9, but in the UK, the same item would cost £158.99 (€186.72).

Lastly, a kids' jumpsuit with ruffled gingham costs €22.95 as opposed to £25.99 (€30.52).

The possibility of savings was originally brought to light by Martin Lewis in 2015 when he wrote: "This isn't just about Zara similar pricing structures apply for other members of the same group, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear and Uterqüe."

"Zara's fashion offer is the same in the over 200 markets where it is available: quality, well-designed products at compelling prices," a Zara representative told the Money blog.

"These prices do vary between markets due to a number of factors which include shipping costs and exchange rates"./BGNES
