Customers at Marks & Spencer praise "autumn go-to" corduroy pants as "better than jeans"

Customers are 'immediately' purchasing multiple hues of the adaptable cords because they can be dressed up or down and serve as a perfect alternative to classic jeans throughout the cooler months.

Customers at Marks and Spencer are grabbing hold of a best-selling pair of corduroy pants "in all colors," praising them as a "warmer alternative to jeans" for the winter, reported Daily Record.

At £29.50 and offered in six autumnal tones, the Cord Straight Leg Trousers are a welcome change from your average pair of jeans. Similar looks may be achieved by styling them with knits and t-shirts for a more relaxed vibe or with blouses and shirts for a more put-together set.

These polished-casual pants include a traditional five-pocket design, a button and zip closure, a straight leg cut, and an attractive high waist. Customers have left positive reviews on the M&S website, praising their "smart" and "versatile" appearance, as well as their "comfortable" and "easy to wear" fit.

A pleased client said: "Marks at their finest. I purchased these chords in yet another color. cosy, robust, and adaptable."

"A bit warmer than jeans, look smart, but I'm not sure how they will wash," remarked a different devotee. Well suited."

A third customer said, "It's the best." The best suited cords available, as always. Excellent bargain as well. The new light camel color is my favorite; I've been wanting it for a while, but M&S only started making them this year. I was fortunate to obtain them as they were almost completely sold out."

According to Birmingham Live, a number of consumers have been grabbing them up in a variety of colors for the season. This delighted client said, "It's highly recommended! Cozy, cozy, ideal for fall! I want to acquire these pants in every color since I adore them."

"Great cords, I've ordered and received them in four colors to see me through winter," said another, equally excited. The material is wonderful and silky, and the fit is true to size."

One more customer joined in the applause by saying, "Very nice pants. elastic and velvety. The Sienna Jeans' fit and sizing correspond to this pair. I ordered the green right away after trying on the brown. Happy with both of them."

Not all reviews, meanwhile, were positive; some drew attention to the ways it differed from earlier releases. Not 98 percent cotton as in previous years and coming out bigger too, complained an unhappy consumer. Fine for casual winter clothing, but I wish there were more vibrant colors—all of them are really muted—like there were in past years."

"I brought a pair of these cords in navy to replace a pair that I brought two years prior, which I felt were now looking a bit sad," remarked a happy buyer, echoing the excellent evaluations. They are an elegant, cozier substitute for jeans since they are quite comfy to wear.

"Compared to the prior pair, this new pair is significantly softer—almost velvet-like. With the extra elasticity, they are comfortable to wear and look fantastic. I'm hoping to get another two years of wear out of them."

The Cord Straight Leg Trousers are available in tiny, standard, and tall lengths for £29.50 on the M&S website, catering to fashion fans. As an alternative, Next is selling its Washed Cord Wide Leg 100% Cotton Trousers in two colors for £35, while New Look is charging £34.99 for its Adalae High-Waist Wide Leg Jeans, which come in seven colors.
