Dior Homme: Craftsmanship Meets Luxury with Sarouels and Clogs

At the Dior Homme show in Paris, English designer Kim Jones explored the figure of the "artisan," presenting a collection that blends practicality and elegance. This summer line featured sarouels, clogs, and comfortable yet stylish clothing, with the standout inspiration being an 83-year-old South African ceramist, according to AFP.

The collection celebrated craftsmanship with glossy '50s-inspired finishes, sculptural silhouettes, and soft curves. Porcelain overcollars and quilted jackets with Portuguese "azuelos" motifs highlighted the artisanal theme. The show, set in the Val-de-Grâce gardens, was complemented by live music from Kate Bush and a color palette reminiscent of a serene beach return. | BGNES
