e-Bay is set to host its first-ever “Pre-Loved Fashion Week” with live resale events in New York and London. These events, part of e-Bay’s growing focus on apparel resale, are Organised in collaboration with the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) and the British Fashion Council (BFC).
The “Endless Runway” events will take place on the e-Bay Live livestream shopping platform. The New York event, accessible to US shoppers, will be held on 5th September. The London event, available to UK shoppers, is scheduled for 12th September. Both events will showcase pre-loved fashion items from designers like Khaite, Off-White, Christopher Kane, and Simone Rocha. These shows precede the official New York and London Fashion Weeks.
The New York show will be curated by fashion creative Wisdom Kaye and hosted by fashion writer Liana Satenstein. In London, e-Bay’s pre-loved style director Amy Bannerman, along with live host Leomie Anderson, will lead the event.
After the UK show, e-Bay will release additional curated collections of used pieces from top British designers who have shown at London Fashion Week over the past 40 years.
Kirsty Keoghan, e-Bay’s GM of Fashion, emphasized e-Bay’s commitment to sustainable fashion, stating that “Pre-Loved Fashion Week” highlights how authentic designer fashion can be accessible and sustainable.
