Kate Moss shoes in charity auction

Among the celebrity objects up for auction are a pair of crystal-encrusted stilettos made for supermodel Kate Moss.

Actress Jane Horrocks organized the sale, which will take place on Friday at Surrey auctioneers Ewbank's in Send. Proceeds from the sale will go toward Marie Curie, a charity that supports end-of-life care.

After relocating, Horrocks, who portrayed Bubble in the popular BBC sitcom Absolutely Fabulous, made the decision to put some of her "lovely clothes with a story to tell" up for sale.

As a representative of the charity, she intends to assist in selling the lots by going up to the auctioneer's rostrum.

"Everything about the clothes tells a story, so a diary," Horrocks remarked.

"I thought it would be amazing if these clothes could be auctioned off for Marie Curie, a charity that is very dear to my heart," the woman stated.

"We inquired with public figures to see if they also had any undiscovered jewels in their closets."

Retailing for £2,500, the "So Kate" Christian Louboutin packaged Swarovski crystal shoes include a signed message.

"These are the ideal shoes for finishing off any outfit; just the right amount of sparkle," stated Kate Moss.
