Monsoon, Accessorize fund UK fashion sustainability scholarships

Monsoon and Accessorize have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting scholarships at Central Saint Martins (CSM), London College of Fashion (LCF), and University of the Arts London (UAL) after a successful pilot year.

Applications for the September 2024 intake of the MA Fashion Futures Student Scholarship at LCF are now being accepted.

The company wants to use the scholarship to help one LCF MA Fashion Futures student advance sustainable thinking in line with its objectives and eventually promote sustainability in the fashion industry.

The scholarship concentrates on two main areas and is intended for students who have a proven commitment to sustainability but are experiencing financial hardship:

Raw materials included in regenerative fashion. Procedures and layout

Digital innovation andzero-waste design, including approaches to pre-consumer waste and raw materials included in regenerative fashion. Procedures and layout

Zero-waste product design and digital innovation, encompassing approaches to products that do not meet quality control standards and pre-consumer waste.

"We have developed a great working relationship with UAL on a number of sustainability and innovation projects, and we're proud to be able to directly support their students via these scholarships," said Nick Stowe, CEO of Monsoon Accessorize.
