Iquique, a city in the Tarapaca region of the Atacama Desert in northern Chile, hosted a `circular` catwalk on 12 April featuring designs created with textiles discarded in landfills of the desert.
The city also hosted the first International Congress of Circular and Sustainable Fashion and Crafts (CIMACS) from 10 to 11 April.
One of the largest landfills of clothes in the world, where the mountains of clothes are hidden between the dunes of the red sand, is found in Chile`s Tarapaca region in the Atacama Desert.
