Live resale events for e-Bay'sinaugural"Pre-Loved Fashion Week" will take place in New York and London. These events are organized in association with the British Fashion Council (BFC) and the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA), as part of e-Bay'sincreasingemphasis on clothing resale.
The "Endless Runway" events are scheduled to occur on the livestream shopping platform of e-Bay Live. The US-only event in New York will take place on September 5th. The London event is set for September 12 and is accessible to customers in the UK. Pre-owned clothing from designers like Khaite, Off-White, Christopher Kane, and Simone Rocha will be on display at both events. The official New York and London Fashion Weeks are preceded by these events.
Fashion writer Liana Satenstein will host the New York exhibition, which will be curated by fashion creative Wisdom Kaye. Amy Bannerman, e-Bay'spre-lovedstyle director, and Leomie Anderson, live host, will spearhead the event in London.
Following the UK show, e-Bay will introduce more carefully selected used-item collections from leading British designers who have participated in London Fashion Week for the previous forty years.
