Stefano Parretti: The world is changing and so is fashion

Faux leather trousers, dark denim, striped shirt and polyester print oversized sweatshirt. Almost everyone has a similar set of clothes in their wardrobe that they periodically replace, pass down to a younger sibling, or simply wonder when to wear.

A team from BGNES and Cantarelli flew to Italy to rock the stands at Milano Unica 2024 in search of answers to whether the personal fashion consultant will tackle the eternal question of "what to wear today", whether we are getting carried away with "fast fashion" and how the fashion business can be "ethical".

Stefano Parretti, Manager of Sales and Creative designer of entire fabrics collection presso VFC, said in front of our camera that ethical fashion in the moment is very important because the world is changed.

It’s very simple. People now have different neccesitties and they understand that we can’t continue to produce a lot of quantity without thinking about what to do later on. We have to concentrate in a few items, that we can use for a long time.’’ /BGNES
