CUMBERLAND Council hosted a clothes swap in West Cumbria.
The sustainability event is aimed at young adults, encouraging them to consider using pre-loved clothes as opposed to buying them new.
The event, which is part of Sustainability Fashion Week, took place on Friday, September 27, NewsStar reported.
In a post on social media, Cumberland Council wrote: "Don't buy new this September, join our clothes swap to find something new to you during Sustainable Fashion Week.
"Some incredibly talented volunteers will also be on hand to support with alterations to make the most of the fantastic, preloved items.
