Starting this weekend, September 20–22, The Good Clothes Show, located at the NEC Birmingham, will usher in an exciting new era for eco-friendly design.
This three-day event offers a new perspective on how we can all contribute to a more ethical fashion business by promoting guilt-free style, circular fashion, and sustainable shopping habits.
The Good Clothes Show presents independent labels, customisers, menders, and manufacturers alongside pre-owned and vintage apparel, with the goal of offering an exciting and participatory experience. Focusing on three main pillars—swapping, giving, and upcycling—the event tries to revitalize what it refers to as “The Circular Machine” and urges attendees to adopt more environmentally friendly shopping practices.
Through its partnerships with companies like White Rose, Smart Works, Global Fashion Exchange, and The Big Swap Events, The Good Clothes Show is building a complete, all-inclusive fashion system under one roof. With activities ranging from expert-led presentations and workshops to carefully selected shopping experiences, the festival aims to showcase the many positive aspects of the fashion business.
