The initial program for spring/summer 2025 is revealed by Dubai Fashion Week.

The international and local fashion labels that are anticipated to establish the major trends for the spring/summer 2025 season have been revealed during Dubai Fashion Week, reported Arab News.

DFW, which is slated to take place in Dubai Design District (d3) from September 1–7 this year, is a prelude to New York Fashion Week.

Co-founded by d3 and the Arab Fashion Council, DFW will showcase over thirty brands showcasing streetwear and haute couture collections with internationally renowned guest designers from France, India, Indonesia, Italy, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Palestine, Russia, the UAE, and the UK.

With forty invitation-only talks, exclusive dinners, and collection launches hosted by international brands and key industry players, the event's reach spans the entire city.

Haute couture collections will be the main emphasis of DFW's first three days.

The last three days will feature ready-to-wear collections from well-known designers like April & Alex, Benang Jarum, BLSSD, Dima Ayad, Born in Exile, Buttonscarves, Choice, Heaven Lights, Riva, Self Made, Viva Vox, and Weinsanto. The Federation de la Haute Couture et de la Mode, the organization in charge of organizing Paris Fashion Week, will present and support these collections.

On the last day of the calendar, there will be a buyers' market and private appointments.

The International Buyers Programme, which enables merchants globally to sign up for DFW's tier perks, is launching for the first time. Through DFW and Dubai's thriving fashion ecosystem, the initiative broadens buyers' reach and facilitates talent discovery, further solidifying Dubai's position as the de facto fashion center of the region.

"Dubai Fashion Week is spreading its beat globally, and Dubai is the pulsating heart of fashion in the region," stated Khadija Al-Bastaki, senior vice president of d3, a division of TECOM Group. "The designers and collections on our runway showcase the strong talent growing in our area and bring diversity to the global fashion conversation.

For participating designers and buyers, DFW has opened up amazing opportunities, partnerships, and global networks. With this latest edition, which has a new buyer's platform, an enlarged space, more events, and an extended schedule of designers, we look forward to pushing the edge even further.

Al-Bastaki declared, "Dubai Fashion Week will raise the bar for fashion excellence and cement Dubai among the global fashion capitals".
