This April, Vancouver Fashion Week will return with over 50 designer displays

Vancouver Fashion Week is a regional fashion event that was founded in 2001 with the goal of gaining international recognition. Returning for a sixth consecutive year of fashion, April 23–28, this event has over fifty global fashion designers, including Kanaka Tamura, Hyunzo Ha, and Bahar Kianpour, reported Tillsonburg News

"Our biggest asset during Vancouver Fashion Week is our diversity. The event's creator, Jamal Abdourahman, stated in a news release, "We bring together the most incredible design talent from across Canada and worldwide, presenting the most forward-thinking creative concepts to the industry." "Seeing such a diverse group of designers here in Vancouver is encouraging, as fashion is a truly worldwide phenomenon."

The public can purchase tickets for the exhibitions, which start at $50, and will showcase a variety of designs, ranging from "street-wear trends to avant-garde couture," as stated by the event organizers. The forthcoming fashion event will also feature student designers from nearby design schools at Vancouver Community College and La Salle College./BGNES
