The designers exhibited a strong dedication to animal welfare and sustainability during Vegan Fashion Week. Vegan Tiger was one of the best; their designs were commended for their class and ethical sourcing. "I personally feel the best when I'm wearing something that hasn't harmed the environment, animals, or people," Vegan Fashion Week 2024 host and star of the Netflix series "Never Have I Ever," Richa Moorjani said.
One of the highlights was the creative use of materials; artist Gail May displayed fabric called "apple velvay," which is made from apples. There's a ton of innovation. It's amazing how many things we can use, like moss and apples. Animals are no longer necessary to be used," noted well-known fashion stylist DerekWarburton, better known as Derek Fabulous.
