Sustainable fashion is extremely important. I choose the highest quality materials possible. I bet on the fact that the product is very precisely sewn, the detail and the eternal design.

This was stated by the young Bulgarian designer Nikol Kerimova in an interview for BGNES.

Nikol Kerimova is the owner of the brand "ERIMME" ("ERIM") and participated in the "Business Lady Excellence" event, where she presented her first collection. She graduated with a major in "Law" and a second major in "Fashion". That's what fashion is, with which the girl wants to do, that's why she decided to pursue a master's degree.

Fashion has always been her dream. "Maybe it sounds clichéd, but since I was little, I've been very interested in dresses, for example. Quite banal, but I wanted to be a princess and now I'm trying to pass it on to other people," shared the young designer, who launched a brand for formal children's clothing .

Kerimova chooses the best possible quality materials for the production of children's clothing.

"I work with bigger brands and I'm a bit limited in terms of the materials I can work with. But I try to choose the best quality things possible," she emphasized.

For her first collection, the designer used satin, which is very dense, and showed off the beautiful patterns she made from this elegant fabric. "I really like lace and I try to use it. There are also other materials like chiffon, like georgette," added Kerimova, for whom it is extremely important to use quality materials and produce sustainable fashion.

In addition, she bets on the fact that the product is very precisely sewn. "I place a lot of emphasis on detail and quality, and rather eternal design that can be passed down through the generations and thus be preserved and more sustainable," explained the young designer, who strives for a sustainable business.

Although the models are children's, they are inspired by adult fashion. "I don't like too colorful, too patterned things, with pictures, with prints, which I think are widely available in Bulgaria, and I'm trying to do something different," she noted.

During photo shoots and reviews, the little models are extremely happy to wear the wonderful dresses. "They share that they feel like princesses. They start parading, showing me. Then they don't want to take them down, and that brings happiness to me as well," added Kerimova.

In the future, the designer plans to develop her business and make formal dresses for adults as well. "I plan to develop it, so that it is not only for children. This was only a start. In the official fashion in Bulgaria, there is a bit of an emphasis on kitsch, and I try to make it both elegant and simpler, but still have a shine and style," she added.

Kerimova appealed to people why they should bet on sustainable and not fast fashion. "I think that every person would prefer to bet on something that - yes, it might be a little more expensive, but it will be made with a lot of love. I think that people should support Bulgarian brands, small brands, Bulgarian designers, and not to focus on sponsoring big companies anyway", she said and concluded that there are many talented people in Bulgaria who need to be supported.

The "ERIMME" brand will be presented this evening also at the special fashion show, part of the program of the "Business Lady Excellence" event. /BGNES
