CEO of US Plastics Pact Jonathan Quinn Named to Spearhead Circular Economy Vision

Jonathan Quinn has been named the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the U.S. Plastics Pact, with immediate effect. With the goal of achieving a circular economy in the US, the Pact is moving toward revolutionizing the design, use, and reuse of plastic packaging, and this leadership transition represents a critical turning point in that process.
To help with the transition, Emily Tipaldo, the U.S. Pact's first Executive Director, will act as a temporary strategic advisor. Tipaldo's outstanding leadership, which has made the company a major player in sustainable innovation in the plastics industry, was commended by board chair Holli Alexander. She conveyed her belief that Quinn could build upon this foundation:
The U.S. Plastics Pact is now a major driver of sustainable innovation in the plastic packaging sector thanks in large part to Emily. Her commitment and knowledge have created a strong base for the future. We are eager to continue this momentum as we welcome Jonathan Quinn to the position of CEO. We will benefit greatly from Jonathan's vast experience in plastic packaging, sustainability, and market development as we work to achieve our objectives and involve more parties in our circular economy vision.
Jonathan Quinn, who most recently held the position of Global VP of Marketing & Sustainability at The API Group, brings more than 15 years of experience in the industry to his new position. He is ideal because of his lifelong love of plastic packaging and his conviction in the circular economy of plastics.
