The gala ceremony compered by “the coolest man in Britain” (British GQ), founder of the Queer Bible, Jack Guinness, celebrated the individuals, brands and retailers – large and small – championing circular and ethical fashion.
Asket was a double winner, and took home the trophies for Best Carbon Footprint Initiative and Brand of the Year – >£10m turnover.
The “One to Watch”, Pip & Henry, had been chosen earlier in the day at Drapers Sustainable Fashion Conference’s Drapers’ Den, in which four start-ups pitched their businesses to our “dragons”, Touker Suleyman, owner of Hawes & Curtis and Ghost, Priya Downes, founder of lingerie brand Nudea, and sustainable fashion consultant Natalie Binns. /BGNES
