Four eco-friendly clothing companies to check out this Earth Month

The environmental news website Earth.org claims that 10% of the world's carbon emissions come from the fast fashion industry, which may be the reason for rising global temperatures, reported Glossy.

On the plus side, though: Market research firm Coherent Market Insights reported in January that the global market for sustainable fashion was estimated to be worth $7.8 billion in 2023 and is projected to grow to $33 billion by 2030. The demand from customers is driving the market's expansion. There are more than 762,000 posts using the hashtag #sustainablefashion on TikTok.

Brands are acting more and more, even if adopting more sustainable practices may be more expensive. Everlane published its impact report on Monday, outlining its initiatives to utilize more environmentally friendly materials and cut waste. Additionally, Stella McCartney has a history of working with pertinent campaigners to raise awareness of the value of sustainable methods.

There are therefore more alternatives than ever before, whether you're looking for eco-friendly gear for your next pickleball match or summer-perfect swimwear created from recycled materials.

Choose from the following four brands that are reducing their carbon footprints during production or using recycled materials to further their sustainability efforts.

Stella McCartney

For a very long time, Stella McCartney has been praised for setting the benchmark for sustainability. Similar criteria were employed by founder Stella McCartney to develop The Stella by Stella McCartney, a skin care line, in August 2022.

Andie Swim

Because of its "progressive approach to sustainability," Andie Swim has created a line of swimsuits using recycled materials. The company's goal is to lessen its production-related CO2 emissions in order to protect the environment.

Tala

Influencer Grace Beverly founded Tala in 2019 with the goal of redefining discreet premium sportswear by producing each piece in an eco- and socially-conscious manner.

Everlane

In March, Everlane and designer Marques Almeida began their inaugural partnership. In keeping with the brand's dedication to offering premium, long-lasting eco-friendly items, the limited-edition collection was created exclusively from leftover materials./BGNES
