Innovative Eco-Fashion by Brighton Graduate Sparks Industry Buzz

University of Brighton graduate Angus Clifford has developed a sustainable fashion project aimed at transforming millions of wasted courier uniforms from companies like Deliveroo and Uber Eats into stylish, eco-friendly bags.

His final year project caught the attention of Tom Meades, co-founder of gomi and fellow Brighton graduate, known for creating sustainable consumer electronics. The two have teamed up to design wearable bags that can carry gomi power banks and other tech essentials.

The bags are handmade at Plus X Innovation in Brighton, where Angus is a resident following his graduation. This project highlights a circular approach to fashion, focusing on repurposing waste textiles and raising awareness of their environmental impact. Angus hopes to expand his work through future collaborations.
