Kate Middleton's appearance has drastically changed as a result of her amazing pastime

The Princess of Wales, with her perfect style sense and faultless beauty features, is the picture of elegance while she's out attending her royal duties.

But in a rarely seen photo, Kate appeared completely different as she indulged in an unplanned hobby at her Norfolk home.

The princess was shown in the last year's picture wearing bulky gloves, protective headgear, and beige coveralls because she enjoys beekeeping.

Last year, the Prince and Princess of Wales' official Instagram account shared a picture of Kate tending to a beehive in honor of World Bee Day.

Pictured in the midst of her beekeeping endeavors, picture was taken in the summer of 2022 at Anmer Hall, the country estate she shares with Prince William on the Sandringham Estate.

A tweet read, "We are buzzing about #WorldBeeDay," in response to the post. Since bees and other pollinators are such an important component of our ecosystem, this is a fantastic time to spread awareness of their importance to human health as well as the health of the world."

It's assumed that Kate and her younger brother James are hobbyist beekeepers, but royal fans posted on Instagram about their "surprise" when they learned of Kate's interest, according to the Mirror.

Another admirer said this about the admirer: "Very impressive! Surprises abound with the Princess of Wales! ".

When the Princess of Wales visited the Natural History Museum in 2021, she enchanted everyone by offering her handmade honey.

Schoolchildren were delighted by a taste test conducted by Kate, who maintains beehives at Anmer Hall. She asked, "Would you want to try some? Each of us has one spoon. Specifically, this was from my beehive. Check if the flavor is the same as it is at home. Does it taste like store-bought honey? Does it have a floral flavor? ".

Beekeeping is an interest of Queen Camilla's as well. She looks after her bees at her private Wiltshire home, Raymill. She discussed her own experiences and said that she had only lost one colony over the winter in 2022 while outing in Launceston, Cornwall, with local honey producers.

Her commitment extends beyond her hobby as she serves as president of Bees For Development.

The Royal households are buzzing with apiculture activities, with Buckingham Palace boasting four beehives on an island in its garden lake, while Clarence House has two hives in its garden.

These busy bees contributed to over 300 jars of honey for palace use last year, sweetening dishes from honey madeleines to chocolate truffles and honey and cream sponge cakes./BGNES
