Lady Gaga has closed the Venice Film Festival red carpet wearing a dramatic headpiece and a black ballgown.

At the first significant red carpet event of her Joker: Folie à Deux publicity tour, Lady Gaga appeared at the Venice Film Festival last night. She looked stunning in a sleeveless black Christian Dior Haute Couture ballgown and Tiffany & Co. diamonds, which included a huge pendant necklace. To finish the ensemble, she added a beautiful black lace Philip Treacy headpiece.

Shortly after Gaga proudly displayed her enormous oval diamond engagement ring on the streets of Venice, her fiancé, Michael Polansky, appeared with her for their first significant red carpet appearance together, reported ELEE.

Wearing a red Ferragamo turtleneck dress, Gaga attended a Warner Bros. welcome dinner for the movie the night before.

Along with revealing her entire festival itinerary on Instagram, she also revealed that the lead track from her seventh album will be released sometime in October. On October 4, Joker: Folie à Deux opens in theaters.

Gaga talked candidly in May about her portrayal of Harley Quinn in the movie, claiming to have given the DC Comics character her own unique look. She said on Access Hollywood, via Deadline, "You know my version of Harley is mine, and it's very authentic to this movie and these characters." "This movie is unlike anything I've ever done, so it will be an entirely new and enjoyable experience."

At a press conference held in Venice today, Gaga discussed her collaboration with Joaquin Phoenix, who portrays the Joker. According to The Hollywood Reporter, she remarked, "I actually really enjoyed it and it was a completely different experience than I've ever had with another actor." "He's so free and easygoing."
