Michelle Williams attended the Met Gala wearing a Chanel pixie

Michelle Williams made her red carpet debut on Monday night at the Met Gala sporting a pink pixie cut, proving she's possibly the closest thing to a real-life pixie ever, reported Harper's BAZAAR.

'Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,' the spring 2024 exhibit at the Costume Institute, seemed like the ideal fashion inspiration for the Greatest Showman star, who virtually always looks like a fluttering angel on the red carpet. Williams dressed in Chanel for the event, as she frequently does. She informed me over the phone before getting dressed for the evening: "My dress for the night is like a sister dress to my last Chanel dress." I sense that they are connected spiritually!

She wore a long coat of white tulle adorned with an embroidered braid and a strapless white organza dress completely embroidered with sequined floral designs. Specifically, it was look 56 from the Chanel spring/summer 2024 collection, which was accessorized with high jewellery and Chanel shoes. The flower designs, which are composed of sequins and white beads, required more than 1,072 hours to create and over 113,000 embroidered parts. Williams stated, "This dress took a lot of work to make, and to wear it is to wear art."

The Golden Globe and Emmy winner claimed that choosing the garment itself was a simple affair. "To be honest, the dress is already perfect when it's in front of you," she exclaimed. "Therefore, the true partnership lies in the way the nails, makeup, and hair will all come together. In what way will those wrap up the tale of this gorgeous dress? How will we enhance the existing attractive features of the dress?

Williams revealed that she was particularly delighted with the gems she wore in her new pink hair, which added to the piece's ethereal atmosphere. It's one of the final touches, she remarked. "And I'm eagerly anticipating that feeling."

The five-time Oscar nominee claimed that although though she has only been to the Met Gala a few times, the most recent being in 2018 for the "Heavenly Bodies" exhibit, each time still feels like the first. She remarked, "I still feel full of excited anticipation, mixed with a good dose of nervousness, and gratitude in every one of these moments." "I consider myself fortunate to have had these experiences made possible by my work."

Williams is still in shock that she gets to collaborate with a fashion business like Chanel on a regular basis. It's incredible to find myself in a position where my life connects with this company, even just by taking a quick glance at the logo this morning. Being able to wear what I get to wear tonight is moving," the woman remarked. She continued, though, to explain how Chanel is just as much a part of her daily life as anything else: "I feel fully dressed when I put on my Chanel ballet flats and jacket."

"There's nothing that feels quite like wearing Chanel," she said in her conclusion./BGNES
