Improved Cotton: Purpose and significance

Asissting the environment

A multi-stakeholder organization called Better Cotton unites businesses and farmers to promote more environmentally friendly cotton production. Both the workers and the environment will benefit from this.

The goal of Better Cotton is to support the survival and prosperity of cotton-growing communities while preserving and repairing the environment. With the organization's assistance, farmers can grow cotton in a more environmentally friendly manner by using less water and pesticides, which improves working conditions overall.

A more balanced effect of cotton on natural resources is facilitated by the growing demand for Better Cotton, which also benefits the program's participating producers.
"We take great pride in our membership in Better Cotton. We are pleased to assist farmers and businesses that are attempting to enhance cotton farming methods. Together, we are fostering more conscientious supply chain practices, which will lead to a better tomorrow.
