Royal Highness The Danish Queen declares that she will be supporting the Global Fashion Agenda

30 May 2024: One of the non-profit organizations promoting sustainability in the fashion sector, Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), is honored to be named as one of Her Majesty the Queen of Denmark's formal patronages, as revealed today, reported Global Fashion Agenda.

HM As HRH The Crown Princess, the Queen has long been a supporter of Global Fashion Agenda. Her renewed dedication to advancing a responsible and sustainable textile sector is demonstrated by her decision to resume the Patronage.

Through a variety of high-impact projects, instructional materials, and gathering places, such as the Global Fashion Summit—the preeminent worldwide event for sustainability in fashion—Global Fashion Agenda inspires action. Demonstrating an unshakable commitment to a future that is more sustainable, HM Since the Global Fashion Summit's launch in 2009, the Queen has been present at each one in Copenhagen, where she has given a number of powerful speeches meant to energise and encourage world leaders.

The most recent event that HM The Queen attended was the Global Fashion Summit: Copenhagen Edition on May 22, 2024. During her speech, she emphasized that a sustainable fashion industry is an opportunity for a creative, inclusive, and prosperous future that respects and nurtures our planet and its inhabitants rather than a limitation.
