Shakira appears to reprimand a clubgoer for photographing her clothing, and she then walks off the stage of a Miami nightclub

After it seemed that she saw an impolite fan filming up her skirt at a Miami club, Shakira made it plain that she would not put up with disrespect, reported Entertainment Weekly.

Taking the stage at the LIV nightclub this weekend, the "Hips Don't Lie" singer appeared to be filming a music video with Winnie Harlow, Anitta, Lele Pons, and Danna in honor of her next single, "Soltera."

Fans cheer Shakira on as she smiles, laughs, and swings her hips in the fan-captured video of the incident. However, the enjoyable moment changed as the singer seemed to direct her attention toward someone standing close to the stage.

In the video, she tells them to halt what they're doing by waving a finger in response to their invisible motions. She also gestures back at them and toward her eye, as though to say, "I see you."

The singer-songwriter then made sure she was covered by smoothing down her garment. She eventually started dancing again, although it's possible that the offender carried on because Shakira appeared irritated when she signaled for the music to stop and left the stage a short while later.

Shakira has not yet responded to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment on social media, and her representatives have turned down the publication's request.

Fans have not held back in voicing their indignation at the person who they claim caused discomfort at the event, even though she has remained silent.

One commenter on X said, "People are GROSS," while another said, "What happened to consent?"

With the exception of one rude fan, Shakira's year has been really exciting for her music. Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran, her 12th studio album, was released this past March. Shakira revealed her 2024 Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour a month after the album's release. The tour's North American leg is scheduled to begin on November 2 in Palm Desert, California.

Additionally, Spanish officials concluded their probe into the singer's alleged tax evasion this year. Citing "a lack of evidence," prosecutors requested in May that the criminal case against the Colombian singer be dropped in a Spanish court. The court granted their request.

Prosecutors claim that the singer utilized an offshore business to avoid paying the tax office up to €6.6 million ($7.2 million) in 2018. The case was initially filed in July. According to reports, Shakira paid off the debt after a month. Six months before, she had separately settled another case of tax fraud with the Spanish authorities.
