Shared with West Yorkshire Print Workshop, Thread Republic CIC is a textile reuse and skills hub situated on the Piazza in Huddersfield town centre, formerly home to Poundworld, reported Huddersfield Hub.
Founded in 2022 by four professionals in the textile industry, Thread Republic offers a haberdashery that is fully stocked with donated goods from the Kirklees community, a program of workshops focused on textile skills, and an events calendar aimed at inspiring people to consider sustainability and creativity in clothing and textiles.
