With a sheer lace bodice and a Gucci slipdress, Dakota Johnson exudes sensual chic

The terms sensuous, stylish, and sophisticated spring to mind when describing Dakota Johnson's most recent late-night ensemble. There's something just so alluring about it.

The Madame Web star wore a slinky Gucci slipdress to a Bulgari Studio Party ahead of New York Fashion Week. It has a translucent black lace bodice with a deep V cut on it. The maxidress's remaining fabric was a rich chocolate brown silk. Johnson, who is always up for a classic style, wore a dress that brought to mind the elegant slipdresses of the 1990s, which were popularized by celebrities like Princess Diana and Carrie Bradshaw, reported InStyle.

She accessorized her lingerie-inspired gown with bold jewelry. She wore a similar High Jewelry Monete bracelet and a pink gold High Jewelry Monete necklace with coral accents that encircled a bronze coin and pavé-set diamonds. Her hair was worn loose and disheveled.

She usually wears classic, casual pieces for her daily off-duty wardrobe, such slouchy jeans and well-chosen loafers, but her nighttime ensembles are typically a little more feminine and daring. However, they nonetheless, of course, manage to look stylish and timeless in that effortless Dakota Johnson style. Consider this semi-sheer spiderweb gown or this hardly-there sheer blue slip dress. Then there was the occasion when she wore a sparkling mesh maxidress and went nearly entirely nude.

Following the completion of her next romantic comedy, The Materialists, starring Celine Song of Past Lives, Johnson took a little break. Although there had been rumors circulating recently suggesting that Johnson and Coldplay vocalist Chris Martin had broken up, they are still together. Johnson was seen wearing her purported engagement ring a few weeks ago, and in July, she went to Glastonbury with Martin's kids.

What other activities has she engaged in? We can only assume that she has been catching up on her extremely strict sleep routine when she isn't slipping into slinky little Gucci numbers.
