Wu-Tang Clan closed the Tommy Hilfiger show at New York Fashion Week

Members of American hip-hop group Wu-Tang Clan lit up New York Fashion Week, closing the Tommy Hilfiger show with an electrifying performance aboard a ferry.

At the end of the show, Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Raekwon jumped off the spectator benches to perform one of the group's most famous songs, C.R.E.A.M.

The show took place aboard one of New York City's bright orange ferries, which usually carry passengers between Manhattan and Staten Island, where Wu-Tang Clan formed in the early 1990s.

The American designer chose the setting to return to "the nautical and maritime inspirations that have defined our signature look since 1985," according to the note for his spring 2025 collection, as quoted by AFP.

Models paraded down the catwalk in casual, sporty outfits with sailor stripes and regatta jackets, and among the crowd were Olympic 200m sprint champion Gabby Thomas and gymnast Sunisa Lee.

The Tommy Hilfiger brand, which will soon celebrate its 40th anniversary, has long been associated with preppy style, but in the 1990s and 2000s it was often worn by hip-hop artists.

Questlove, the drummer for hip-hop group The Roots, also made an appearance, DJing the Tommy Hilfiger show.

The John F. Kennedy," which hosted the show, docked in Manhattan on Sept. 8.

After 60 years of service, it was bought back from the city by two comedians from the cult American TV show "Saturday Night Live," Colin Jost and Pete Davidson, also from Staten Island, who turned it into a venue for entertainment.
